Common questions
Why are departure times different from the ones at the stop?
Hodos shows the live times published by the Luxembourg public transport data service. Printed timetables at stops show the planned schedule and do not reflect delays. When a departure is running late, Hodos shows the delay in minutes next to the planned time.
Why does a journey need my location?
Location is used to find stops around you, to plan from where you are, and to walk you to the right platform. You can decline it and still search by stop name or address. See the privacy policy for exactly what is sent and where.
Why does Hodos ask for background location?
Only while a journey is in progress, so it can detect that you have arrived and close the trip without you having to reopen the app. It is not used at any other time.
A stop or line is missing
Stops, lines, and timetables come from the national transport data published by the Administration des transports publics. If something is missing or wrong there, it will be missing in Hodos too. Report it anyway and it can be traced back to the source.
How do I stop the reminders?
Open Settings inside the app and turn off Commute Alerts or Disruption Alerts. Individual reminders can be edited on each saved route.
How do I delete my data?
All of it lives on your iPhone. Deleting the app removes everything. There is no account and no copy on any server.
